About Bangla Boxing Stadium

Bangla Boxing Stadium is an open-air Muay Thai and boxing venue in the heart of Patong, Phuket, Thailand. Since 2004 we have brought authentic Thai fight nights to visitors from around the world, hosting live Muay Thai every night of the week in a vibrant, family-friendly arena just behind Jungceylon Shopping Center.

Our Story

Founded on 22 April 2004, Bangla Boxing Stadium has been part of Patong’s nightlife for more than 20 years. Originally located on Bangla Road, the stadium moved to its current home on Phang Muang Sai Kor Road to offer larger seating and a better experience for a growing audience. Between 2016 and 2018 the stadium partnered with the Yokkao Next Generation event series. Today it continues to host professional fight cards featuring Thai and international fighters.

The Fight Night Experience

Doors open at 8:00 PM and the first bout begins at 9:00 PM, with a typical card of eight Muay Thai bouts running until around midnight. Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) bouts are featured on Wednesday and Saturday nights. Each event opens with the traditional Wai Kru Ram Muay ritual performed to live Sarama music, and an English-speaking commentator guides spectators through every fight. Every ticket includes a free stadium T-shirt.

Our Venue

Our open-air, two-level arena seats around 900 spectators across Stadium and Ringside sections, cooled by natural ventilation and ceiling fans. The ground floor has bars and snack vendors, while amphitheater-style seating surrounds the ring for clear views from every seat. Families are welcome, and free child seating is available on request.
